corn hole league - fall 2023

Good news – Cornhole at Warwick Farm Brewing is back! 

Our Fall cornhole league will start September 13th! This is a social league! Come out, toss some bags, drink beer, and enjoy the view!

 

Here’s what you need to know:

  • This will now be run by our in house team – Jay Trauger, our Head of Production will be running the league this fall.
  • The league will be run on Wednesday nights, starting September 13th – November 1st. The regular season will be 6 weeks of play and there will be 2 weeks of playoffs.
  • The league will consist of 24 teams of 4. We require 4 members to sign up per team because not everyone can make each week, teams can switch out for other members during beer breaks, bathroom breaks, etc.
  • The games will begin at 6:30pm & 7:30PM. Every team will play each week, including two weeks with double headers, a total of 8 games excluding playoffs.  Each team has 4 early games, and 4 later games throughout the season.  The games are best of 5 or whoever is winning/leading when the hour is up.  We have 8 sets of boards ready to be broken in!
  • We will be ordering WFB cornhole league shirts for everyone, please provide the shirt size of each team member when you sign up. We will be purchasing a large trophy that will be in our tasting room.  The trophy will showcase the league champions for each season.

Here’s how to register!

  • Email jaytrauger@warwickfarmbrewing.com with the following information:
    • Team Name
    • All four members names of the team
    • Email of each team member so everyone can receive weekly emails
    • Shirt sizes next to each team member
    • How they plan on paying (Venmo or cash brought in to tasting room – only two options)
    • Whether or not they paid already
  • The fee to join is $50 per player, or $200 a team.
  • If you pay through Venmo, please note your team name followed by ‘WFB cornhole fall league’ so we can match up registration emails with payments.
  • Once a team has emailed Jay with their team information and we have received the $200, we will add the team to the schedule. Registering alone will not secure your team a spot, both email and full team payment is required to lock you in. 
  • Venmo @Jay-Trauger. The last four digits of my number are 7581 if it asks for confirmation.
  • We will keep everyone to date on how many spots we still have open through social media and email.

If payment is made through Venmo after the registration closed, you will be fully refunded.

Once all teams are filled, Jay will send out the regular season schedule.  We will also send out weekly emails with the upcoming week’s games and standings.

To ensure play is fair come playoffs, standings will be kept through the year.  Teams with matching records will be ranked using the total of points scored during each game.  Scores must be recorded accurately for every game.

All of our rules will be sent out in an email once registration is filled as well as on our website shortly under the event tab.  If you need the rules sent to you at a later date for any reason, you can email Jay for them as well.
